Torchlight II has gathered quite the following since it published to PC thanks to its lively online multiplayer following. The constant competition and quests have cemented its place in the hearts of many.
However, to the few offline warriors, the ability to play offline and still keep the game interesting day in day out is unmatched. This is where the console commands and cheat codes come in.
After you've enable console commands in Torchlight 2, you can use them to spawn items, respect, reset skill points and so much more. Just remember that you should just use them in an offline game save since you will get flagged if you use the cheats in an online game.
- On some operating systems, Torchlight 2 is saved under 'My Games' instead of 'My Documents.' Open the file with a text editor, then press CTRL+F and search for 'Console:0″. Change the parameter from 'Console:0″ to 'Console:1″ to activate the Developer Console, enabling use of cheat console commands in Torchlight 2.

- To enable the console, go to C: Users YOURUSERNAME Documents my games Runic Games Torchlight 2 save (number). The number will be different from person to person, the point is that it is a string of numbers. Open that folder, then open up settings.txt (back up recommended, like always).
How to Enable the Developer Console in Torchlight 2

Open the txt and look for the line with console: 0
There are lots of options to correct your audio too. Also, if you like to look, feel and sound of the free version, you can upgrade to the full paid version for only $29. Visually this is one stunning Garageband autotune plugin and looks great with Ableton too. You can control things like the snap range and the amount of voices too. Auto tune presets free.
Change it to console: 1
Save the document and launch the game. To activate the console while in the game, hit INSERT on the keyboard.
